Braised Pork with Italian Chestnuts


Braised Pork with Italian Chestnuts

For the time being, Rika loves this dish. This was cooked upon her request.

The chestnuts used were dried ones imported from Italy. They had been soaked overnight so as to loosen the bits of dried skins, which had to be removed. They were then steamed for 20 minutes and then fried with garlic before braising with meat.
